MaryAnne Roberto will be providing two sessions on Cortical Visual Impairment (CVI) on Friday, March 23rd titled:
“The CVI IFSP/IEP” and “Current Trends and Research in CVI”
Bio: MaryAnne Roberto has been a Teacher of the Visually Impaired for almost 35 years, and is a graduate of Kutztown State College, in PA. MaryAnne has worked as a teacher and Early Intervention Specialist at Overbrook School for the Blind, in Philadelphia, and as an Early Intervention Specialist in Bucks County, PA. MaryAnne completed the PA CVI Mentorship under Dr. Christine Roman-Lantzy in 2010-2011, and in March 2017 became a Perkins-Roman CVI Range Endorsed Professional. MaryAnne is a faculty member of the Pediatric Cortical Visual Impairment Society, and has presented at their annual conference in 2017, and will present again in June 2018. She is a moderator for an online class for Perkins School for the Blind elearning program, and has co-presented a webinar for Perkins entitled Partners on the Journey: a TVI and Family’s CVI Experience from Birth to Age 3. MaryAnne is the owner of Envision CVI Consulting, LLC, and provides consultations, evaluations, and trainings for school districts, teams, and families. MaryAnne and her husband of 34 years live in PA, and are the parents of 8 children: four birth children and four with special needs, adopted from China.
